Dec 09THE BEAUTIFUL 60S

I mentioned a couple weeks ago that I was so excited to see A Single Man. If you do anything this weekend, I suggest you go see it. The film was amazing. Beautiful, depressing, and some of the best fashion I’ve ever seen on film. Tom Ford has the perfect eye.
A meticulous wonder. Firth’s character bears a resemblance to the young Yves Saint Laurent. Everything was almost too perfect in this film–the sorrow, the people, their tailored clothes, their homes, their hair color…everything except Moore’s english accent. Did you notice that was a little off? The color changes were a bit too literal for my taste, but overall, pretty amazing.
Moore’s accents are always off! Haha, I’m glad you noticed that too. She’s one of my favorites, but playing a English woman requires more voice training for Moore.
I understand your color chaging critique. Asael had the same complaing of the changing of angles (zooming in and out) but since he loved everything else so much he let it slide.
I think it is my favorite of the year? How about you?
Julianne Moore looks beautiful!
She is lovely, isn’t she?
I am so excited to see this. Maybe sometime during the week? I’m in the mood for a little more Colin Firth — I’ve just finished the BBC Pride and Prejudice miniseries.
I hope you like it! Did you see An Education? What did you think?
we love 60s too!!
