Oh and ps: Sade just put out a new album and I heard one beautiful song on KCRW. I betcha she still looks gorgeous too. My mom had her cassette tape back in the day.

Natalie – what are your thoughts on this dress?
I think there’s an ugly beauty to it. I’d never wear it nor want someone else to, but I’d love to see it in a museum. What I do applaud is that Drew took a risk and just went with it. I love women like that. Not the boring red, purple or black easy awards dress – I need character!

Yes – I went through InStyle’s too 100 dresses of the decade with Joe, and he pointed out that a great many of them accentuate the womyn’s ovaries!!

This is an amazing look for MIA. She doesn’t ever not look great, though! I like how the fingernail polish is a bit of a callback to earlier looks in her wardrobe.
I agree, she always looks pretty great but this photo really shows how gorgeous she really is. Her nails are her own line for Minx … coming soon to a store near you?

This look is beautiful. I think Sade’s look is deceptively simple…it accentuates her exotic looks.
I am a fan of over accessorizing, so I can respect the dozens of pieces of jewelry that go into M.I.A.’s new look.
