Authentically Anne

anne1

I love Anne Hathaway, there is no denying it.  Even when Princess Diaries [lame, I know!] shows on cable, I cannot help but make some popcorn and cozy up with the young princess.  Havoc will probably never be erased from my mind – that is her her worst film btw – but I am excited about her future in Hollywood.

Anne’s new latest film, Rachel Getting Married is getting a lot of attention and has even been dubbed the “best American film of the year.”  I feel ho-hum about the film, but at least with the attention comes the swirling press and magazines around Anne.  Here is a beautiful spread from Californian publication, C Magazine.

Don't Ever Change

It is no secret that the Fashion INTEL loves Anne Hathaway. Spotted last week: What we love even more is when a girl can dump a guy before he goes to jail, fly to Rome, and look radiant in white. One of the only actresses still keeping it classy. We have almost forgotten HAVOC.

Fashion Forecast: Get Smart

We’ve had a lot of inquires about the clothes seen in the upcoming Get Smart, starring Anne Hathaway and Steve Carell. Needless to say we are huge Hathaway fans (-Havoc) and we cannot wait to see what she’ll be wearing in the role of AGENT 99. From what we have heard, there is going to be lots of CHANEL and mod looks inspired by the original series.  Costumer designer Deborah Scott says Agent 99 needed to be dressed in “serious and strong lines” so that her strength exuded from her clothes as well .  Looking good appears to be as crucial as saving the world in this film.

If you want to emulate this dangerously chic look, all you need is a leather jacket, white trench, and Chanel bag – gun optional.

Our picks: Tory Burch/Lynn Leather Jacket, Chanel/Umbrella, Purse, Pins, Gloves, and Heels, White Milly Trench

Fashion Forecast

Bride Wars

Thank you Anne Hathaway for choosing what appears to be another fashionably styled film. First you gave us The Devil Wears Prada – not as good as the book, but I loved it nonetheless – and now you will be showcasing your beauty in Get Smart and Bride Wars (pictured). With all this fashion candy I can forget that you ever made Havoc, and realize you as the lovely fashionista that you are.

I can’t forget to mention Kate Hudson, because even though she stars in some of the worst romantic comedies I have ever seen, I cannot deny how undoubtedly hip she is. Her mother is Goldie Hawn, and she is the only woman who dresses like a true bohemian everywhere she goes. Her style never feels forced.

I cannot wait to see this film come into fruition as I forecast this will be a fashion favorite. If you couldn’t tell by the title of the film, the movie will be about wedding madness. IMDB is describing it as “two best friends who become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day.” These two are a perfect match as best friends, and it will hard to wait until 2009 to see their equally rivaling clothes.
