One of my loyal readers has sent me this interesting Craigslist post. Calling all VOGUE readers – Snoop is keeping it classy.
I need hot/sexy/beautiful models of all ethnicities for this weekend!! I need women with a Vogue/high fashion magazine look and a XXL/ hip hop magazine look. Must have fit/sexy body who could stop traffic with their looks! The video is classy!!! Be prepared to pose in swimsuits.
Auditions are this week! Please submit head shots and body shots ASAP. I will contact you if interested. Reply to: job-731188377@craigslist.org
[note: Fashion INTELL dares you to show up in your ERES swimsuit and Tom FORD sunnies, now that would be sexy. As for the video, judging on his previous collection, we are not too sure how a VOGUETTE would fare in that scene.]

Vogue Paris and Vogue Italia are staples in our home, so I was overjoyed when I discovered Circus of Books, one of favorite magazine stores, would also be carrying another transnational gem – Vogue India. Here is another magazine that puts our light and fluffy American Vogue to shame, and it doesn’t even have nudity!
There is a constant discourse of the lack of diversity among models, and for those who are looking for more than just Stam, Rocha, and Pivovarova, I recommend Vogue India. No doubt you’ll still find those lovely models also gracing this English (insert colonization comment here) language magazine, but there are also women who represent some of the many faces of India. Not to mention some fabulous technicolor fashion from Indian designers.
Lastly, if you are dark haired like me and refuse to pluck out all your brows, Vogue India features some great beauty products and tips. Finally!

Eva Mendes never struck me as the best actress or frankly that well dressed, but she has definitely sparked my fancy with this fabulous fashion/nude spread for Vogue Italia. Steven Meisel shot this intriguing 20 plus technicolor dream.
If Hollywood could start writing and casting better Latina roles I could possibly see Eva’s true acting chops – or better yet, more dimensional roles that any actress would be interested in playing regardless of ethnicity. If I see one more film where Eva has to portray the exotified “spicy Latina” sidekick, I think I am going to vomit.
Enjoy these scans of wigs and silk stockings, but they’re NSFW so you might want to take a peek at home. Unless your boss likes Eva Mendes re-imagined as a Pedro Almodóvar character from the 50s.
