When going to a show in L.A. I can only expect to see the indie darlings dawning their best. With the heat knocking us out these past few days, I was looking forward to seeing what kind of ensembles would hit the street, dying to look summer in the eye. The crowd at the She & Him (Zooey Deschanel’s music venture) show at The Vista (Los Feliz) did not disappoint, and made the night even more interesting. In fact, there wasn’t enough time to capture how many fresh faces I saw. Zooey was great, and so were her allegiance of girls.

Ask any hip girl who she’d like to share clothes with, and I guarantee she mentions Zooey Deschanel. She is the golden girl for those who are always intriguing and sometimes a bit gamine. I call her Golden because she is rare, not like the former Zoebots like Nicole, Mischa, and Lindsay, who although I often like, they are certainly not creative to the core like Zooey.
Fashion Intelligentsia loves Zooey because she’s intelligent, stylish, and sings with the birds. This month she’ll be coming to The Vista Theater in Los Angeles to sing with She & Him. You can make sure we will have our tickets tomorrow at 12pm. Any girl who hangs with Erin Fetherston, Rodarte, and models for Lula Magazine is obviously perfection. If you can’t buy her clothes, go ahead and buy her lovely music.
